ABOUT GINa's at the Bridge

Yes, we are the same Gina’s that created and ran “Gina’s Cantina” in Millersville, Md., as well as “Gina’s Café” in St. Michaels, Md.  You will get a sense of the distinctive “Gina print” the second you enter the doors. Tilghman Island has fused the best selections from both restaurants to craft the picture-perfect restaurant whilst revealing some of the bays unsurpassed views.

The Tilghman Island location was spearheaded by the owner of the restaurant property, Stewart Sachs, who frequented the St. Michaels café. He relentlessly pleaded to bring Gina’s to the island. After we sold the Millersville location, (plus many Tito’s & wine discussions between us), the decision was made to go for it and combine all of our talents...and of course time and renovate the Tilghman building. After approximately 6 months of long sweat equity days and nights, we unlocked the doors and are happy to be a hand on, family owned and operating business. You will find us docking boats, seating guests, cooking burgers, breading blue catfish, shucking oysters, bussing tables, laughing, hugging guests, pouring beer, uncorking wine, handing cotton candy to kids, we could go on but you must come see for yourself!

The waterfront location is situated directly at the Tilghman island bridge, a bascule that is recognized as being the busiest bridge in the country. We are so very proud of our family and staff, (which is truly like family), as we have navigated through our first year of operation.  Moving into our second year we are working towards a stronger social media presence with a scope that reaches across the bay, (Chesapeake Beach, Deale, Taylors Island, Annapolis), a shuttle service by land or water, and to be a leading venue to book for weddings/special events.

Come to the Island….We are here for you!  Love, Gina, Mike, Gammy, Sam, Maggie, Austin, Logan, and all the animals.
